“For Good team were experts in their field of communication and the knowledge they share is still very useful to this day. Today, many people see that Biorock Indonesia is at the same level as some well-known organizations; which proves that our rebranding was indeed successful.”
Co-Founder & CEO, Biorock Indonesia
Biorock Indonesia is a social enterprise whose mission is to protect and restore the coral reefs of Indonesia through community-friendly technologies. They run several programs in coral reef conservation ranging from Biorock Gardener, Scholar Reef, Biorock Experience, and Shore Protection.
Since its conception, Biorock Indonesia has been operating as a non-profit organization. However, they recently transformed into a social enterprise to accelerate their impact across the archipelago.
Through the social enterprise model, they wanted to support the coastal communities in developing and running sustainable tourism initiatives that support the protection of the coastal environment.
They needed help with a rebrand and development of a strategic marketing communications for the new model.
For Good helped with the rebranding of Biorock by conducting an organization-wide brand perception survey and leading an exercise on brand value identification to determine their new identity. The output of these processes is the comprehensive brand guide with frameworks in Biorock Indonesia’s visual direction as well as communications style.
Visual guide and social media layout
After the rebranding process is done, we supported Biorock’s communications team to develop a marketing communications strategy for their products and services. They include coral adoption, educational tour, volunteering program and the citizen scientist initiative.
We assisted their team in developing a measurable communications plan and creating campaigns that include social media plan, media engagement, events partnerships, and more.
We also developed a few sets of visual content to help them kick start these new campaigns.
