The Client

Photovoices International is a Bali-based non-profit organization that supports under-represented communities to take action to improve their lives, through a facilitated learning process using photography. With their tagline “The Power of Perspective”, they increase the knowledge, skills and confidence of under-represented communities to express their views and concerns more effectively. 

Photovoices International has launched 9 projects in Indonesia and a project in China. In Indonesia, their projects delve deep and document a wide range of issues, from social and environmental issues, access to clean water, health, livelihood, to local histories, personal experiences and cultural perspectives, spread across the archipelago.  In China, they was developed as a means of securing essential information from local people and engaging them in the future of Northwest Yunnan.

The Ask

As part of their accountability effort, Photovoices Indonesia needed to develop several communications and reporting documents as well as improve their website as the public-facing communications channel. 

Throughout the course of six months, we worked closely with them to create their annual report, a project’s impact report, an informational sheet template and revamp their website.
